Mobile Specialist Cleaning Operative / Driver

Periodic Cleaning Solutions – Bromsgrove Head Office

£110–£160+ per day depending on hours and shifts

Company van provided · Hotels paid · Overnight allowance · National travel

This isn’t a normal cleaning job.

Periodic Cleaning Solutions is a National Specialist Cleaning Provider. Our teams travel throughout the UK carrying out specialist work for commercial, industrial and public-sector clients.

One day you could be carrying out specialist floor cleaning, another working on an industrial site, pressure washing, deep cleaning a commercial kitchen or completing a specialist project for one of our national customers.

We’re looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our mobile team based around Bromsgrove.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll travel to customer sites across the UK, usually as part of a team, carrying out a wide variety of Specialist Cleaning work.

The job is physical, varied and sometimes dirty. It also involves early starts, late finishes, nights, weekends and occasional overnight stays.

If you’re looking for Monday–Friday, 9–5 work in the same building every day, this probably isn’t the job for you.

But if you enjoy being out on the road, working with your hands, going somewhere different and being part of a team, we’d like to hear from you.

What we pay

  • £110 standard day
  • + £25 when working over 8 hours, including travel
  • + £25 for site specific extended travel
  • + £25 for weekend working
  • + £22.50 overnight allowance when staying away
  • Hotel accommodation paid for by us

Depending on the shift, this means you can earn £110–£160+ per day, plus overnight allowances where applicable.

A company van and the specialist equipment required for the job are provided.

What we’re looking for

Previous specialist cleaning experience is useful, but attitude and reliability are more important to us than having worked as a cleaner before.

You must:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Be comfortable driving a van
  • Be prepared to travel throughout the UK
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends
  • Be prepared to stay away from home when required
  • Be physically capable of manual work
  • Be reliable and turn up when you’ve committed to work
  • Be willing to learn specialist equipment and cleaning techniques
  • Take pride in doing a job properly

Experience in industrial cleaning, drainage, facilities, pressure washing, construction, labouring, removals, maintenance, warehousing or other physical work could all be relevant.

About Periodic Cleaning Solutions

For more than 15 years, we’ve specialised in Periodic and Specialist Cleaning.

Our teams operate nationally across commercial, industrial, retail, education, healthcare and other specialist environments.

We invest in our people, specialist equipment and training because we’re interested in building a reliable team, not simply finding somebody to fill a shift.

Interested?

Don’t send us a generic application. Tell us briefly:

  1. Where do you live?
  2. What manual/physical work have you done previously?
  3. Do you have a full UK driving licence?
  4. Are you genuinely available for nights, weekends and overnight stays?
  5. Why does this type of job appeal to you?

If you look suitable, we’ll arrange a short telephone conversation rather than putting you through a lengthy interview process.
